The M1A supports full-duplex audio, meaning participants can speak and hear simultaneously without one side cutting out the other—this results in a more natural conversation flow rather than the push-to-talk or half-duplex limitations found in some USB speakerphones.  The device also incorporates advanced noise-cancellation and echo-suppression algorithms, along with Automatic Gain Control (AGC), which boosts quieter voices and ensures clarity even when there’s ambient background noise (e.g., HVAC, keyboard, adjacent conversation). 

Installation is immediate: plug the M1A into your computer via the included USB-C cable, or use the USB-C → USB-A adapter (both included) if your host device uses USB-A. The unit is class-compliant and requires no special drivers on Windows 10/11 or macOS; it is ready to use in moments with your conferencing software.
