The TSC TE-210 is a robust 4-inch desktop label printer in TSC’s TE Series, delivering reliable performance in both Thermal Transfer (TT) and Direct Thermal (DT) modes. With upgraded memory and full connectivity, it stands out as a more capable successor to TE200 for small-to-medium volume labeling tasks.

Printer Architecture & Design

The TE-210 shares the same compact form factor as TE200, with ABS housing and tool-free access to the printhead and platen roller. Its electronics have been upgraded to support expanded memory and connectivity.

Print Quality & Performance

Equipped with a 203 dpi printhead, the TE-210 produces clear, consistent output—text, barcodes, and graphics—for typical labeling tasks. It operates at speeds up to 6 in/s (≈ 152 mm/s). 
It supports printing lengths up to 1,000″ (≈ 25,400 mm) in continuous mode (per datasheet) 

Memory & Firmware

The TE-210 features 64 MB SDRAM and 128 MB Flash memory, providing ample buffer for complex label formats and graphics. 
It runs TSPL-EZD firmware, with emulations for EPL, ZPL, and DPL. 

Connectivity

Out of the box, TE-210 includes:

• USB Host (for keyboards, scanners)

• RS-232 Serial

• Ethernet 10/100 Base-T

These interfaces ensure flexible integration into both local workstation setups and network deployment.

• Ribbon lengths up to 300 m (1″ core); also accepts shorter ribbons (72–110 m) on ½″ core

Serviceability & Maintenance
