The Roland TrueVIS AP-640 is a professional 64-inch wide-format resin printer engineered for high-volume, high-quality production. Featuring dual staggered Piezo printheads with variable dot technology and an optimizer, it delivers sharp, vibrant, and durable prints across a wide range of media including uncoated PVC, films, fabrics, and wallpaper.
The printer supports media widths from 10.2 to 64 inches and handles rolls up to 99 pounds with diameters up to 9.8 inches. It uses water-based TrueVIS Resin Ink available in cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and an optimizer, ensuring fast drying, scratch resistance, and low VOC emissions.
Equipped with an integrated drying system, the AP-640 maintains consistent print quality and productivity, with print resolution up to 1200 dpi. Connectivity is provided via high-speed Ethernet. The printer operates within temperature ranges of 68 to 86°F and humidity levels of 20 to 80% RH, ensuring reliable performance in a variety of environments.
With dimensions of 113.7 x 33 x 61.1 inches and a weight of 587 pounds, the AP-640 includes a dedicated stand, dryers, media take-up unit, and Roland’s VersaWorks RIP software along with the DG Connect app for streamlined workflow management.
