The Redragon GCP500 Ivy RGB Laptop Cooling Pad is a premium cooling solution for gamers, content creators, and professionals using mid- to large-size laptops (12"–17.3"). Designed to enhance thermal performance and comfort, it features a 5-fan layout, adjustable stand angles, RGB effects, and built-in USB pass-through ports.

Cooling Performance & Fan Layout

At its core, the GCP500 employs a mixed-size fan array:

• One large central 140 × 140 × 12 mm fan for powerful airflow

• Four 60 × 60 × 12 mm auxiliary fans around the sides to support edge and underside cooling 

The fans operate at about 3,800 RPM (±10 %) and generate a relatively low noise profile (around 19 dBA) under standard settings . The cooler is rated with a long life expectancy (~45,000 hours) 

Airflow is directed upward through the pad into the underside vents of the laptop, helping reduce thermal throttling and improving comfort during use. The mixed fan sizes help ensure airflow coverage even across larger laptop bases.

Build, Ergonomics & Adjustability

The pad has a sturdy metal/aluminum top surface and ABS legs for durability and stability.  It includes an adjustable tilt/height mechanism, letting users raise the laptop to comfortable viewing angles or typing positions
