The Dinstar MTG200-1E1/T1 Digital VoIP Gateway is a compact PRI network gateway designed to bridge traditional E1/T1 voice systems with VoIP infrastructures using SIP protocol standards. It supports a single E1/T1 interface for primary rate ISDN connectivity and offers robust voice codec support including G.711a/u, G.723.1, G.729AB, and iLBC for optimized call quality. Fax over IP is supported through T.38 and pass-through modes, and advanced voice features such as echo cancellation (G.168), silence suppression, comfort noise generation, and voice activity detection are included.
Network management is facilitated through an intuitive web-based GUI and SNMP support for remote monitoring. Dual 10/100 Ethernet interfaces ensure flexible network deployment, while configuration backup and firmware updates can be performed via TFTP or web. The gateway operates on a 12VDC power supply and is suitable for small to medium enterprises requiring seamless interconnection between legacy PBX systems and SIP-based VoIP services.
