The NZXT F240 RGB CORE (model RF-U24HF-W1 in white) is a high-performance single-frame fan assembly designed to simplify RGB & airflow installation while delivering robust cooling. Instead of mounting two separate 120 mm fans, NZXT combines them into one 240 mm frame, making cable routing neater and lighting synchronization easier.
Integrated Dual-Fan Layout & Advantages
This single-frame design houses two 120 mm fans side by side. This simplifies installation—only one bracket, one frame, and one lighting/power cable to manage—while maintaining cooling performance. With integrated RGB, you don’t need to wire separate lighting headers for each fan module; the frame handles synchronized control.
Performance & Cooling Specs
Each fan inside the unit operates from 500 to 2,400 ± 250 RPM depending on thermal demand.
They push an airflow of 75.12 CFM per fan and a static pressure of 3.3 mm H₂O, enabling efficient cooling even through dense radiators or tight cases.
Noise is rated around 30 dBA, making it quietly effective in most setups.
Bearings & Lifespan
The fans use fluid dynamic bearings, which offer smooth, reliable operation with lower friction and better durability over time.
Rated life is around 60,000 hours under normal usage conditions.
Lighting & Control
Each fan hub includes 8 individually addressable RGB LEDs, diffused through the semi-transparent fan blades for a clean and vivid look.
You can control speed & lighting via an NZXT controller (sold separately) through CAM software, or connect directly to a motherboard 5V ARGB header using the included splitter cable.
Additionally, the frame supports Zero RPM mode, which lets fans stop spinning under low thermal loads (if supported by controller or motherboard).
Use Cases & Benefits
-
Ideal for cases or radiators that support 240 mm width but prefer two 120 mm fans
-
Cleaner cable management and lighting control in RGB ecosystems
-
Good for radiator setups, intake/exhaust configurations, or as a standalone airflow unit
-
Quiet and efficient across varied loads
Considerations & Limitations
-
Because both fans share the same frame, if one fails or underperforms, the whole unit may suffer
-
Ensure your case/radiator supports 240 mm width
-
The lighting / RGB control requires proper controller or ARGB compatibility
-
Thermal performance is tied to both fans working in tandem
